Each customer benefits from a dedicated and fully isolated application environment (single-tenant architecture), hosted in France and operated by Cartadis. The solution secures print jobs, manages scans, tracks print volumes and enables mobile printing — without the need to maintain a complex on-site server infrastructure.
Gespage Stratus is built on a single-tenant public cloud architecture. Each organisation has its own dedicated instance, ensuring full isolation of data and settings. Hosted in France and operated by Cartadis, the platform eliminates the need to install and manage an on-site Gespage server, reducing operational costs and IT maintenance overhead.
Gespage Stratus supports network printing via a print server, serverless local printing using the Gespage Agent, and mobile printing by web, email or mobile application. This flexibility makes it adaptable to all IT environments.
A Gespage Stratus instance can manage up to 20 printers. In serverless mode, the solution is recommended for environments with up to 100 user workstations.
Gespage Stratus is compatible with Windows 10, Windows 11, Debian and Ubuntu for user workstations. Print servers can run on Windows Server 2019, 2022 or 2025, as well as Debian 12.
The Gespage Agent can be installed manually or deployed automatically via GPO in a Windows environment. It can be installed on each user workstation or on a print server, depending on the chosen architecture.
Gespage Stratus offers secure printing, mobile printing, scanning to email or cloud services such as OneDrive, Google Drive and SharePoint Online, quota management, user synchronisation with Active Directory or LDAP, and a dedicated web interface for both users and administrators.
Users can be created manually, imported via a CSV file, or synchronised automatically with a corporate directory such as Active Directory, Entra ID or OpenLDAP.
Gespage Stratus requires an Internet connection of at least 10 Mb/s. Communications between workstations, multifunction devices and the cloud platform primarily use HTTPS via port 443 to ensure secure data exchange.
Gespage Stratus is compatible with many MFP brands, including Canon, Kyocera, Lexmark, Ricoh, Epson, Fujifilm, Konica Minolta, Sharp, Toshiba and Xerox. Some integrations require the installation of the Gespage Connector.
Configuring an eTerminal involves entering the address of your Gespage Stratus instance, using the secure port 443 and enabling SSL. For some MFP brands, the Gespage Connector must also be installed and configured on your local network.
Gespage Stratus can integrate online payment via Worldline or PayPal, allowing users to pay for their prints directly from the user interface. For higher education institutions in France, the solution is also compatible with the Izly payment system.
